Overview

As an early PM hire, I played a key role in establishing product management best practices, supporting the launch of a new fantasy sports model.

Key Impacts

Led development, design, and product teams in transition from working in silos to collaborative sprints, improving quality and speed of product delivery.
Drove implemenation of multiple PM tools inlcuding Jira, Confluence, and UserTesting.

Challenge

Team lacked structure in product development process and had little product operations built out. As the company grew, this affected delivery speed and prioritization alignment across teams.

Solution

Implemented core PM tech stack (Jira, Confluence, UserTesting) with full team training.
Worked across functions to define processes for planning, communication, and delivery, helping the team move to a more structured product development approach.
Created shared roadmap and recurring syncs to align engineering, design, and leadership.
Instituted user research and validation as a key piece of the development process.
