Led the development and launch of Microsoft Azure Mv3 High Memory Virtual Machines, a specialized compute offering designed for the most demanding enterprise workloads. These VMs are used by Fortune 500 companies to power mission-critical cloud applications such as SAP HANA.

Challenge

  • Enterprise customers running memory-intensive cloud workloads need VMs with massive memory configurations to support.
  • Azure's Mv2 High Memory offerings only supported workloads up to 12TB, so there was a need to support existing customer growth beyond that limit and to enable new customers with higher memory needs.

Solution

  • Led partner teams in development, testing, and certification of Mv3 High Memory VMs with memory offerings between 6TB and 16TB.
  • Ran early access preview programs with several enterprise customers to validate performance and gather customer feedback.
